For Valentines day, Sarah and I went for a walk to Alexandra Palace Park. It is a couple of km from our flat, so we were able to walk the whole way there without to much problem.

At the park we had a look at the deer, and fed the birds in the lake.

The palace has been used for a lot of different things, and is still used as an ice skating rink and for TV broadcasting.

And for concerts! Saw the white stripes and arcade fire there, and its a good venue. Keep an eye out for stuff there, especially since you’re in walking distance
You lucky so and so. My one wildest fantasy is to see the White Stripes play live. (well one of them anyway)
There were no bands around when we were there, just geese and ducks.
And to top it off some greedy pigeon shat on my leg.
I dont think the bands just hang out around the park, giving concerts in the wild…though that’d be pretty good (maybe Jack White could shit on your leg!). There are plenty of websites with upcoming bands in London tho and they do have concerts there pretty often. I think seetickets was one site, tho Vic was the expert and usually arranged it – I could ask her if you like.
